Rat King of Tokyo

I've needed to flesh out this character better for a while.
A colored sketch of a GMD OC of mine, Oyuban Rattano Ryoshu. He is dressed in his traditional garb here, but he has Victorian style attire that he also wears when traveling abroad. He took forever to color, so his second outfit will have to wait. 
Species: Rat; hairless 
Age: 39
Height/ weight: unusually Tall/ heavy for his species
Ruthless,vicious, ugly and cunning. Not much is known about Ryoshu's early life. He grew up dirt poor in the sewers of Tokyo where he made a reputation for himself as a street fighter, a (crooked) gambler and a thief. Despite a natural talent as a fighter, Ryoshu has an interest in learning and as a child hid in the walls of a library where he taught himself to read. 
Ryoshu and Ratigan can arguably be described as frienemies. Ryoshu has a begrudged respect for Ratigan despite their cultural and creative differences. For a brief period Ryoshu worked a hired thug for the professor and learned a great many skills from him before eventually abandoning his life in Europe and returning to Japan.  On some strange level he considers Ratigan to be an older brother figure of sorts, modeling his criminal career after the professors and even offered to join forces with him.

Though that is much longer story.
